Abstract
We present the application of a high speed analog neural network chip of the MESA Research Institute in the first level RZ-Trigger of the H1 -Experiment at HERA. Using this neural network chip with a settling ti me of about 50 ns we can reach a first level trigger decision within t he HERA bunch-chrossing time of 96 ns.
