Abstract
The structure of thioxanthone-10,10-dioxide, derivatives of which have applications to pharmacology and polymerization processes, has been d etermined. In common with most other thioxanthone derivatives, the rin g system is virtually planar, and all bond lengths and angles fall wit hin the ranges observed for similar species.
