Abstract
A novel non-enzymatic method for the determination of oxidases and the ir substrates was proposed, The principle was examined by fluorometric determination of glucose oxidase(GOD). Using EGTA(NH4)(2)Fe(SO4)(2) a s modified Fenton reagent, H2O2 the product of GOD catalytic reaction was converted into hydroxyl radical, the later oxidized terephthalic a cid, which was chosen from four fluorogenic indicator of hydroxyl radi cal, into fluorescent product GOD was thus measured according to the r eaction rates. The method is simple, stable, cheap and at least as sen sitive as its counterpart enzymatic method.
