As the nuclear energetics, as well as the other modern technologies, u
nderwent an accelerated development, the utilization of some materials
having special, high purity, chemical, mechanical physical and nuclea
r properties has also grown continually. One of these, used in getting
the nuclear fuel, after reaching a certain purity degree, is uranium.
The paper presents the results of experiments fbr an uranium purifica
tion process, using the laboratory model pulsating column as well ar a
queous solution, uranyl nitrate (UO2(NO3)(2)) and as organic solution,
tri n-butylphosphate (TBP)-dilutant (kerosene) mixture.
