Abstract
In this paper we deal with adaptive algorithms based on cheap control in the presence of neglected dynamics, Convergence analysis is carried out for a relative dead-zone of both discontinuous and continuous typ e with the aim of pointing out in an explicit fashion the main differe nces related to these two facilities.
