DETECTION AND ISOLATION OF NEPOVIRUSES ON STRAWBERRY IN THE CZECH-REPUBLIC

Arabis mosaic, strawberry latent ringspot, tomato black ring and raspb erry ringspot nepoviruses were monitored using double sandwich enzyme- linked immunosorbent assay (DAS-ELISA) in 18 cultivars of strawberry F ragaria x ananassa Duch, in the Czech Republic. Arabis mosaic and stra wberry latent ringspot viruses were detected, isolated and characteriz ed on differential host plants and by electron microscopy. Both viruse s were purified and antisera to them were prepared.
