Abstract
A general synthetic methodology has been elaborated for tris(bidentate ligand)osmium(II) complexes containing three different polypyridyl li gands. The tris(heteroleptic) complexes were characterized by NMR tech niques, and the ligand dependence of their electrochemistry and electr onic spectroscopy examined.
