Abstract
The reaction between B(C6F5)(3) and [Fe(eta(5)-C5H5)(CO)(2)Me] gives t he unexpected product {([Fe-sigma-C6F4(2-C(O)Me)](eta(5)-C5H5)(CO)}, w hich reacts with the donor molecules L, where L = PMe(3), PPh(3), or B u(t)NC, giving {([Fe-sigma-C6F4(2-C(O)Me)](eta(5)-C5H5)(L)}.
