The influence of loading waveform on crack growth rate (da/dN) of corr
osion fatigue (CF) was studied for iron in 3.5%NaCl and 3.5%NaCl + 1%N
aNO2 solutions at different applied potentials. The results showed tha
t the effect of loading mode on da/dN of CF depends on the stress inte
nsity factor range, the applied potential and the passivation state of
system. The action mechanism of the loading waveform in the different
conditions is discussed.
