The case of a 48 year old woman with a synovial cyst of the hip joint
and arthrosis secondary to dysplasia is presented Rheumatic disease co
uld be excluded. During an arthrography, which showed the communicatio
n of the cyst with the hip joint, the formerly existing pain could be
elicited. In this case the pain in beginning hipdysplasia is not direc
tly related to arthrosis.
