NONSILVER PHOTOGRAPHIC IMAGES OBTAINED FROM NICKEL(II) - COMPLEXES WITH SOME ALKYL-DERIVATIVES AND ARYL-DERIVATIVES OF 8-MERCAPTOQUINOLINE

The formation processes of non-silver images in gelatin layers of AgHa l-photographic materials containing previously by a two-stage chemical processing of silver image synthesized reactive material from Ni-2 Fe (CN)(6) upon the reactions with alkaline solutions of 5-phenyl, 6-phen yl,2,7-dimethyl and 2,4,6-trimethyl derivatives of 8-mercaptoquinoline , have been studied. D-solid (black) (inverted) (triangle) = f(D-Ag) r elationships have been obtained and analyzed D-soild (black) (inverted ) (triangle) is the density of a non-silver image formed on the basis of the initial silver image having the density D-Ag. The chemism of th ese processes has been studied in detail. It has been pointed out the possibility of practical application of these processes for the photog raphic images amplification.
