Abstract
The structural stability of self-similar MHD solutions related to the axisymmetric hydromagnetic dynamo is studied. The generation of a magn etic field occurs due to disturbances coming from infinity. A ''pumpin g'' mechanism is found that can provide a strong concentration of magn etic induction near young stars with bipolar jets.
