Abstract
Let A be the path algebra of a quiver with underlying diagram of type
(A) over tilde(n), (D) over tilde(n), (E) over tilde(6), ($) over tild
e(7) or (E) over tilde(8). We show that a finite dimensional A-module
M degenerates to another A-module N if and only if dim(k)Hom(A)(M, U)
less than or equal to dim(k)Hom(A)(N, U) holds for all finite dimensio
nal A-modules U.
