T. Yagyu et al., COLOR COORDINATE SUPPORTING SYSTEM WITH NAVIGATING STATE OF USERS MIND, Electronics and communications in Japan. Part 3, Fundamental electronic science, 79(10), 1996, pp. 47-55
A Color Coordinate Supporting System is proposed for detecting color c
oordination that matches a current state of user's mind from the desig
n database through communication between a user and a computer. First,
the user selects a few keywords, and the system extracts the initial
candidates of color coordination from the design database that corresp
onds to the keywords. Next, these initial candidates are narrowed down
to candidates adapting to the state of the user's mind. The user can
communicate his candidate's preference to the computer. This result is
recorded in the user's personal database, which then reflects his pre
ference. Finally, the most favorite design is decided by Pair Comparis
ons. In Pail Comparison, the system changes the balance of color coord
ination with the user's preference database. Thus, the user can retrie
ve his/her most favorite design.
