H. Benzarti et al., PAPULAR LOCALIZED BASALOID FOLLICULAR HAM ARTOMA OF THE SACRAL REGION, Annales de dermatologie et de venereologie, 123(12), 1996, pp. 811-813
Introduction: Basaloid follicular hamartoma is a benign tumor with sup
erficial dermal proliferation of thin basaloid cords in a fibrous stro
ma. Case report: A congenital case with sacral plaque-like papules is
described. Discussion: Three different forms have been reported : a so
litary form (usually an alopecic scalp plaque), a generalized acquired
form associated with myasthenia, and a linear form. Histological diag
nosis may be difficult and require clinico-pathological evaluation.
