Abstract
Relationships among lichenized fungus populations of Xanthoria parieti na collected from different Spanish areas are establised using six iso enzymatic systems: alcaline phosphatase, acid phosphatase, esterases, isocitrate dehydrogenase, phosphoglucoisomerase, phosphoglucomutase an d superoxide dismutase. A total of 55 bands were resolved, four of whi ch were constant in all thalli through all sampling data. UPGMA dendro gram and principal component analysis show the existence of groups cor related with climatic conditions. In the case of saxicolous thalli, th e substrate also plays an important role.
