FLUORO ORGANICS - SYNTHESIS OF NOVEL FLUORINATED 4-OXO-4H-PYRIDO [3',2' 4,5]FURO[3,2-D]-1,3-OXAZINES AND THEIR REACTIONS/

Novel fluorinated 4-oxo-4H-pyrido[3',2':4,5]furo[3,2-d]-1,3-oxazines h ave been synthesised from thoxy-3-amino-4-trifluoromethyl-6-aryl-subst ituted furo[2,3-b] pyridines via intermediates such as luoromethyl-6-a ryl-substituedfuro[2,3-b]pyridines. and roacetylamino-4-trifluoromethy l-6-aryl-substituted furo [2,3-b]pyridines. The CF3 group induces chan ges in the reactivity in the molecule and the consequent regioselectiv e attack of nucleophiles on the oxazine ring have been studied and uti lized for mechanistic interpretation.
