Abstract
A 38-year-old man presented with paralyzing sciatica as the first mani festation of synovial sarcoma of his right leg, Although neurologic sy mptoms sometimes occur as manifestations of synovial sarcoma, they are exceptionally inaugural. Magnetic resonance imaging is a valuable too l in patients with synovial tumors, both for establishing the diagnosi s and for evaluating the extent of the lesion.
