Abstract
The resistive drift wave instability is examined in the presence of st
atic charged dust grains. It is found that drift waves can become unst
able on account of free energy stored in the equilibrium dust and ion
density gradients in collisional dusty plasmas. Nonthermal resistive d
rift waves can cause anomalous particle transport.
