Abstract
Two pathways of hormonal signal reception and transduction in animals are considered. The probability of their functioning in plant cells is evaluated. The materials of the International Symposium ''Plant Hormo ne Signal Perception and Transduction'' (Moscow, September 4 - 10, 199 4) and data already published are surveyed.
