Abstract
1(4'-azobenzylcellulose)-2-naphtol was analyzed thermogravimetrically under dynamic conditions of temperature before and after sorption of T i(IV), Zr(IV) and Th(IV). The results obtained plead for a mechanism o f differential chemosorption of Ti(IV), Zr(Ir) and Th(IV) on the sorbe nt considered for the study, which is superposed on physical sorption. Strength of the sorbent-metal links depends on the nature of the sorb ed element, which is also confirmed by the existence of a real effect of compensation, expressed by equation lnA = 0.2E-1.
