Abstract
The paper discusses the problem of the measurements of the field of th e velocities of the sea currents made with the account of the space-bo rne Doppler coherence-pulse radar. Estimates of the fluctuation and th e velocity sensitivity of the radars similar to those installed onboar d the ''Almaz'' satellite are also shown in this paper. The results ha ve shown that it was of about 5 cm/s in the case when the linear size of the symmetric element of resolution was of 3 km (real aperture) and of about 50 cm/s in the case when the resolution was of of 1 km (nonf ocused aperture).
