Abstract
The accessibility of spatially referenced digital data within a librar y setting refers to the ease with which they can be displayed. Strateg ies for improving accessibility include: acquisition of data in a soft ware-dependent format, reorganization into logical geographic units, u se of intelligent retrieval software, improving computer hardware, and intelligent hard drive organization.
