Abstract
Anisotropic conductive film (ACF) consists of conductive particles and an adhesive. It is used to connect the tape automated bonding (TAB) t o the liquid crystal display (LCD) panel. Today, surface mount technol ogies are essential for the miniaturization of electric products. We i nvestigate the electric properties of connections by ACF. This paper i ntroduces different kinds of reliability and connection resistance dat a and reports on the role of conductive particles.
