Abstract
A model of radiation transfer above rugged topography with non-Lambert ian reflection is presented. The model is based on a generalization of the theory of radiation transfer above the flat surface with a genera l form of the reflection coefficient. The application of the model is exemplified by an algorithm for calculating the illumination distribut ion in the plane of the photographic image.
