Abstract
Spatial maps of the vortex origination centers located in the metastab le zones of six water areas of the World Ocean have been compiled and analyzed. A sharply irregular spatial distribution of the cyclogenesis centers is established as far as the occurrence of active centers. Ge ographical locations of active cyclogenesis centers in the northern he misphere are isolated, most favourable for the operational planning of space experiments.
