Abstract
Consideration is given to the problems of constructing prognostic pros pecting models based on remote sensing data, as a prerequisite compone nt for comprehensive prospecting jobs and metallogenic investigations directed to revealing large and unique ore objects. The necessity and effectiveness of such investigations ale demonstrated with models of t hree generalization levels for unique copper pyrite ore objects in the South Urals.
