Abstract
A summary of the current status of the Canadian RADARSAT program and p rovide details on the important features of the satellite space and gr ound segments is provided. The role of RADARSAT International Inc. in the program is explained. An abbreviated summary of proven and potenti al applications for the satellite radar data also is presented, follow ed by a description of plans and proposals for applications, demonstra tion projects and educational workshops and seminars.
