Abstract
Based on ''Cosmos-1939'' and SPOT data has been demonstrated that all vegetation areas in Moskow form a self-similar fractal structure. Vege tation areas obey hyperbolical distribution. The emphasis in research has been on extrapolation from pixel level to 1/16 of pixel size (2.5 x 2.5 m) for all scales of self-similarity.
