Abstract
A portable rainfall simulator has been developed for use in field infi ltration experiments. The rainfall simulator is built using readily av ailable components, is easily transportable, and requires a setup time of approximately 10 minutes. Field testing results have shown that th e rainfall simulator gives comparable runoff and loss rater to those o f similar sized plots monitored under natural rainfall conditions.
