S. Hesselbach et H. Fraas, CHARGINO-NEUTRINO PRODUCTION IN ELECTRON-PHOTON COLLISIONS, Physical review. D. Particles and fields, 55(3), 1997, pp. 1343-1352
We study the production of charginos and sneutrinos in electron-photon
collisions (e(-)gamma --> <(chi(j))over tilde> <(nu)over tilde>(e), w
ithin the minimal supersymmetric standard model. The high energy photo
ns can be generated by Compton backscattering of intense laser pulses
off one of the beams of the Next Linear Collider. This process could o
ffer a significant opportunity to identify sneutrinos, which exclusive
ly decay invisibly into a neutrino and the LSP, since the cross sectio
ns are two orders of magnitude higher than for the radiative productio
n of invisible sneutrinos [GRAPHICS] For three scenarios of gaugino-Hi
ggsino mixing the cross sections and polarization asymmetries are comp
uted and the resulting signatures are compared with the SM background.
