Abstract
We present the experimental results on subpulse suppression of a chirp ed-pulse amplification Nd:glass laser pulse by second-harmonic generat ion with time predelay. The results show that the intensity contrast r atio of the main pulse to the subpulse is increased by a factor of 10 in comparison with that of the fundamental pulse.
