Nh. Afgan, FUNDAMENTAL HEAT AND MASS-TRANSFER RESEARCH IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF NEWHEAT-EXCHANGERS CONCEPTS, Journal of enhanced heat transfer, 2(1-2), 1995, pp. 1-16
The paper represents authors view on the present development in resear
ch of heat and mass transfer related to the modern development of the
heat exchangers. Special attention is devoted to the assessment of the
potentiality of different mode of heat and mass transfer mechanism in
relation to the new development of heat exchangers design. In this re
spect emphasize is given to those mechanism of heat and mass transfer
which are in correlation with potential enhancement of the individual
processes leading to increase its intensity and remove existing limita
tion in the design of modern heal exchanger surfaces. In particular at
tention is given to the future needs and demand for further developmen
t in heat and mass transfer.
