Abstract
A case is presented of a woman in whom basilar artery thrombosis devel oped 14 days post partum. She was successfully treated with intraarter ial urokinase. This case demonstrates that complete neurologic recover y can be achieved after recanalization of the basilar artery with thro mbolytic therapy.
