Abstract
Features of vanadium pentafluoride synthesis on a semicommercial insta llation of horizontal type from various vanadium-containing concentrat es and wastes have been investigated. Highly corrosive activity of van adium pentafluoride has been discovered; protective ceramic material b ased on calcium fluorozirconate has been developed.
