Abstract
A study has been made of radical copolymerization of N-vinyl-3(5)-meth ylpyrazole with acrylic acid in a water-dimethyl sulfoxide mixture, in itiated by the ammonium persulfate-ascorbic acid system. The copolymer ization constants have been calculated. The relative activity of acryl ic acid is compared with the activities of other monomers that capolym erize with N-vinyl-3(5)-methylpyrazole under similar conditions.
