Abstract
Correlations are established between the velocities of longitudinal an d transverse ultrasonic waves, on the one hand, and the electrical con ductivity, thermal conductivity, magnetic permeability, and Brinell ha rdness, on the other, for porous copper and iron. The reliability of t he correlations for ultrasonic inspection problem is analyzed.
