Abstract
Interval-censored data result when survival times are not known exactl y, but are only known to have occurred between intermittent examinatio n times. Here the accelerated failure time model is treated for interv al-censored data. A class of score statistics that may be used for est imation and confidence procedures is proposed. An adaptive procedure b ased on estimating the optimal member of the class of score statistics is explored.
