Abstract
This paper presents a report of a study of the organization of oral da ta in libraries and archives in the United States of America and Canad a. It was undertaken in 1993 as part of a major study covering selecte d oval documentation centres across the world. It aims at investigatin g the management, collection, processing and dissemination of the mate rials in the documentation centres.
