Abstract
Two new triterpenoid saponins, asteryunnanosides F and G, were isolate d from the roots of Aster yunnanensis. Their structures were determine d as oleanolic ta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranoside and 3-O-beta-glucopyranosyloleanolic -L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)]-beta-D-gl ucopyranoside by spectral data, especially 2D NMR analysis including C OSY, HETCOR, HOHAHA, and ROESY techniques, and chemical transformation .
