Mc. Simon et al., DIAGNOSTIC SURVEY OF VIRAL HEMORRHAGIC-DISEASE IN WILD RABBITS (ORYCTOLAGUS-CUNICULUS) IN 4 REGIONS OF SPAIN, Revue scientifique et technique - Office international des epizooties, 14(3), 1995, pp. 801-810
Samples of organs and serum were obtained from wild rabbits (Oryctolag
us cuniculus) found dead in the field shot or captured by hunters, or
introduced for repopulation in various provinces of Spain over a two-y
ear period, for the purposes of an epidemiological study of viral haem
orrhagic disease (VHD) of rabbits. The efficacy of the haemagglutinati
on rest and the direct immunofluorescence test for the diagnosis of VH
D was also examined.
