Abstract
Characteristics and attitudes of Ontario beef producers who use artifi cial insemination and those who use natural breeding are compared. Nat ural breeders are characterized as larger as well as more commercial a nd profit oriented. Time, convenience and problems with heat detection are the main problems natural breeders associate with artificial inse mination.
