Abstract
The author reports on a combined method using acupuncture, Chinese med icine (herbs and substances) and Western medicine for the treatment of idiopathic facial nerve paralysis (Bell's palsy). Based on 20+ years of clinical experience, he proposes a new classification system and th erapy which varies according to the lesion level. Includes a report on 718 cases treated with the combined method in which the cure rate was 99.6%.
