Gs. Roy et al., EVALUATION OF LINEAR CORRELATION FACTOR IN DILUTE BINARY-MIXTURES - TRI-N-BUTYL PHOSPHATE WITH NON POLAR-SOLVENTS, Boletin de la Sociedad Chilena de Quimica, 40(3), 1995, pp. 305-308
Linear correlation factor in very dilute solutions of binary mixtures
of Tri-n-butyl phosphate (TBP) (mole fraction < 0.1) in seven non pola
r solvents namely carbontetrachloride, n-hexane, n-heptane, carbon dis
ulphide, benzene, p-xylene and cyclohexane at 303 K is determined and
extrapolated to zero concentration of solute. In case of binary mixtur
e of TBP in tetrachloromethane, n hexane, n-heptane and benzene, g dec
reases whereas in case of binary mixture of TBP in p-xylene, carbon di
sulphide and cyclohexane, g increases as mole fraction of TBP tends to
zero.
