Abstract
Alexander Uvarov is nor a stranger to the pages of ETR&D; a few years ago, International Review published an article that described a projec t he coordinated, one of the first telecommunications projects between the then Soviet Union and the United States (Uvarov & Prussakova, 199 2). Great changes have taken place in Russian education since that tim e, and changes in the Russian software design and development communit y have proceeded apace. Here, Uvarov describes recent software - both practical guides and theoretically significant instructional applicati ons - prepared for the educational community.
