Abstract
We report the case of a 21-year-old male who sustained an uncal hernia tion and subsequent brain death following general anesthesia, for a mi nor orthopedic procedure, owing to the presence of a large, unsuspecte d temporal glioma. The possible factors responsible for the precipitat ion of this event are appraised.
