The insect antifeeding property of 25 limonoids isolated from Meliacea e plants, Okinawan and Chinese Melia azedarach and Chinese Melia toose ndan, were tested by a conventional leaf disk method. The most potent were classified as azadirachtin-type C-seco limonoids and the next app ear to be apo-euphol limonoids with a 14,15-epoxide and a C-19/C-29 br idged acetal.
