Abstract
Intracardiac thrombus may develop as a consequence of multiple underly ing cardiac disorders. Left ventricular (LV) aneurysm following acute myocardial infarction has been associated with intra-aneurysmal thromb us and emboli. Part III of this 5-part article on intracardiac thrombu s focuses on the frequency and consequence of thrombus associated with LV aneurysm.
