Abstract
In our search for a chemotherapeutic agent with a better therapeutic i ndex and selectivity for the treatment of breast cancer, we have synth esized cytotoxic triphenylethylene derivatives. The synthesis of this type of compound is straightforward and efficient. The biological acti vity of these compounds was evaluated in vitro on ER+ and ER- human br east tumor cell lines: MCF-7 and MDA-MB-231.
