Abstract
A series of 1,4-dihydropyridines with fluorine-containing substituents of various electronic nature and lipophilicity, as synthesized in our Department, are considered and their biological activity as calcium c hannels modulators is discussed. A 'hybrid' compound-a combination of calcium channels blocker and potassium channels activator-has also bee n synthesized.
